Autograph letters signed and initialled from Dante Gabriel Rossetti to various people [manuscript], 1864-[1881?].

Correspondents: [William?] Davies, Ernest Gambart and T. Watts-Dunton. Rossetti refers to his illustrations for Shakespeare's plays and other drawings. In (4) he enclosed emendments for certain poems in his forthcoming book, Ballads and Sonnets, published in 1881. Also, draft of a sonnet "On certain Elisabethan Revivals", beginning , O ruff-embastioned vast Elizabeth. Note that his unpublished sonnet was given to Hall Caine for his Sonnets of Three Centuries, [1882], but was afterwards withdrawn. Poem listed in the Folger card index of first lines.
